Springboard Carol Concert

The magic of Christmas filled the air last week at Springboard's inaugural Christmas Carol Concert.
Over 100 hospitality industry colleagues gathered at the stunning Parish Church of the Annunciation in Old Quebec Street for Carols by Candlelight at a service led by Bishop Michael Marshall, Assistant Bishop of London. The congregation also enjoyed a moving solo performed by Mr David Morgan-Hewitt, Managing Director of The Goring and readings from Lee Emmanuel and William Yarney who are now working within the industry as a result of their involvement with Springboard programmes.
It was a truly atmospheric service, heralding the start of Christmas and providing a moment of peace from the hustle and bustle at this busy time of year.
Despite the wintery weather, the warmth of festive cheer continued after the service as the congregation donned Santa hats and processed to the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill in Portman Square, where the Marie Fidelis School Gospel Choir sang their hearts out and guests enjoyed delicious festive treats, mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Through ticket sales, raffle and silent auction this hugely enjoyable festive event raised over £6,000 to support the vital work of The Springboard Charity.
Springboard would like to thank all those who attended and the sponsors who showed generous support including
