We are delighted to announce the winners of the HR in Hospitality Awards 2009

Yesterday (17th September) evening, a “riot” of HR professionals gathered together (thank you Jane Sunley for that new Pluralism) for a Riotous evening at Claridges Hotel to celebrate the best of the best in human resource practice in the hospitality industry. 

Philippe J. Leboeuf, General Manager of Claridges introduced the evening with a speech that highlighted the value he places on the contribution of human resources to his organisation and during the evening we all enjoyed a sublime level of service and food.

It was evident from the award submissions this year that the response by the Human Resources community to the challenges of the economic climate had involved the highest levels of innovation and pragmatic problem solving resulting in strategies that have added notable value to their organisations.  It was clear that simply to be recognised in the shortlist was an accolade in itself.
