Many congratulations to Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin who have won three awards at this years Hotel Cateys on Friday 7th November 2008 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

The winners were (from Left - Right):

Human Resources Manager of the Year Award

Spa Manager of the Year Award
Nicola Williams, Malmaison, Birmingham

Sean Wheeler commented on winning his Hotel Catey - “The award is very much a team effort and reflects the hard work everyone puts into the development and retention of individuals in our business! It is a great achievement for us all”

Nicola Williams said "I am very proud to receive this award for doing a job I am truly passionate about and hope it helps to show anyone coming in to or that is in the industry what success you can have. This is more then just a job to me, making people feel and think better of them self is what I like to do. There's nothing more gratifying then knowing you've made someones day, whether this be guest's or fellow colleague's". 

 Jean Roberts said "I was absolutely thrilled to receive my Catey. What an wonderful honour for me, my company and my Housekeeping Team. I hope that the revival of the H/k Catey
will raise the profile of the Housekeeper which is sorely needed in this Industry. "
